Dawsongroup Sweepers: July 2020 update
The team at Dawsongroup Sweepers is delighted to be returning to the new normal. It’s great to be getting back to work to service the companies we work with.
We are a leading supplier of self-drive premium municipal road sweeper equipment providing rental and contract hire to our customers. Post-pandemic, we have made it our priority to find a solution moving forwards that works for everyone. Our new way of working puts safety first and ensures our employees or customers are not put at risk at any point.
The new normal brings about many challenges for companies and employees. We have looked at these challenges and where necessary adapted our working methods and/or policies. These include:
- Establishing a crisis team to provide continuity to ensure any impact is less negative
- Ensuring the safety of all employees as paramount
- Developing a contingency plan for critical roles should employees become ill
- Dividing the workforce into separate teams who work in isolation to each other
- Being flexible with working arrangements
- Providing relevant communications to our employees and customers.
We have implemented a number of steps to ensure we are able to continue providing the service you expect from Dawsongroup sweepers in a safe and compliant manner.
In order to help our customers resume their frontline two man operations safely we have antibacterial screens available for the DAF and VOLVO chassis cabs, along with adjusting our training procedures enabling us to continue providing full driver training in line with the Government guidelines. We remain committed to minimising the impact that the new reality brings to our customers’ businesses – please get in touch if you need any further information.
Dawsongroup Sweepers are observing the regular updates on Government issued guidelines and If you would like to read more on the current COVID-19 regulations please visit the Government website:
